In Agra water pipe line was bust in Jeevan Mandi in agra due to the burst of 28-inch water pipeline at the gate of Jeevan Mandi Waterworks, there was a ruckus for water in half the city on Saturday.  

On Saturday, Agra ranked second among the hottest cities of the state in india. In the midst of such scorching heat and humidity, people became helpless due to the deepening of the water crisis.  

More than four lakh people of the city had to wander for water. Along with Yamunapar, water did not reach in areas including Kala Mahal, Jeevan mandi Kachari Ghat, Vijay Nagar, Balgunj, Chhipitola, Lohamandi, Gokulpura, Bada Charan Singh.  

People filled water from TTSP tanks installed in neighboring and streets, for which they had to run for 300 to 800 meters.

The water crisis is expected to last till Monday due to the bursting of the pipeline. Half the city had to face the water crisis 1200 of Agra Smart City.  

On Friday evening, 28 inches of water works laid on Saturday evening after supply was disrupted under the MM diameter pipeline, the supply was stalled in the morning and evening as well.

Started from Jeevan Mandi to Yamunapar but the leakage of the pipeline was discovered from above.  

The lines supplying 1200 mm of water to Chhipitola, Tajganj and Peepal Mandi to the officials of the water department remained closed.  

Due to the smart city line, the team of water department coming out from above had trouble in doing the work.
