Yes, Bgmi works in the Android 6. You can play easily in your Android version 6 phones but they have a problem your Android version is capable but you must check your phone hardware specification.
The minimum requirement of bgmi is 2gb ram and a decent processor. But I know Android 6 version phone don't have so much hardware power to run Bgmi smoothly and not fave any lag or frame drop.
